Part of the complete guide: Solar subsidy (complete guide)

Most delays come from small paperwork gaps. Keep these ready.

For the subsidy portal

  • Latest electricity bill with consumer number
  • Mobile number and email linked to the application
  • Bank account details and a cancelled cheque (name should match the electricity connection)
  • Aadhaar for the applicant

For KSEB or TNPDCL

  • Proof of ownership or the owner's consent
  • Installer's single-line diagram and quotation
  • Fee receipts

From your installer

  • GST invoice, warranty cards, DCR certificate and module serial numbers
  • Commissioning and net-meter documents

Follow the full process in the subsidy guide.

Always verify. Subsidy, tariff and price figures change; confirm with the official portal, KSEB / TNPDCL and a written quote.
